Madonna hosts huge dance party for her children to ring in the New Year in Malawi
Madonna rang in the new year with an evening of dancing on Saturday night at her party in Malawi.
The 64-year-old Like A Virgin singer posted a clip that showed quite a few of her guests cutting a rug.
Her clip began with a close-up on her face as she said, "2023, I'm coming for you."
Madonna donned a low-cut black gown underneath a matching black blazer. Her popular song Back That Up to the Beat played over the clip as a number of her guests paraded about in the video.
Several of her children attended the event including her 17-year-old son David, 16-year-old daughter Mercy and 10-year-old twins Stelle and Estere.
She added a caption to some of the photos on her Instagram Story which read, "Dancing Into 2023."
She captioned the clip, '“When you were a little girl Madame ……….. Was this the woman you dreamed of becoming??“ This is a quote from one of my favorite books- The Impossible Lives of Greta Wells.
"The answer is I could never have imagined my life would be so full. That I would be able to make a living being an artist. That I could be the mother I never had. That my children would bring me so much joy!! More Importantly that I would be in a position to be able to help others less fortunate then [sic] myself."
She finished off the coat by writing, "Happy New Year’s from the Warm heart of Africa!!! [yellow heart emoji, green heart emoji, black heart, Malawi flag emoji."
