Marvel's Loki Series First Plot Details Reportedly Revealed
By Kwadar Ray

It was reported last year that Marvel villain/antihero Loki would be receiving his own series for the streaming service Disney+. Though the character was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, the show will focus on Loki's past, according to a new report from The Hollywood Reporter.
THR reports that the upcoming series will follow the brother of Thor as he and his shapeshifting powers pop up throughout world history as an "unlikely influencer on historical events."

On top of that, the publication also reports that Michael Waldron has been slated as the series' showrunner. Waldron, who's also a writer for Rick & Morty, will write the pilot, act as show creator and executive produce the series.
As Marvel looks to wrap up Phase 3 of its cinematic franchise, they are looking to produce more miniseries set in the MCU for its underused, and fan-favorite, stars.
