Meghan Markle on 'Chopped Junior': Watch the Royal Judge the Food Network Show

Headlines nowadays focus on Meghan Markle the Duchess, but not too long ago we all talked about Meghan the actress. It's funny how marrying one of the most famous men in the world can change all that.

Gone are the days where Meghan could be a carefree actress on the show Suits, posting on her lifestyle blog and making TV appearances. Now, Meghan has swapped out that life for a fairytale romance and has fully engaged herself with royal duty and preparing to raise a child.

But that doesn't mean her acting career has totally disappeared. Old footage has resurfaced the internet showing Meghan appearing as a guest judge on a 2016 episode of the Food Network show Chopped Junior, where she tasted dishes that the young competitors made and gave feedback.

The video is fascinating, as it shows the Duchess in a light we've never seen before.

"Growing up, your fondest memories, at least for me, are in the kitchen," Markle says in the video. She proved to be a tough judge, but balanced it out with great comments and constructive criticism for the contestants. One contestant's dish reminded Markle of the food she grew up eating in California. "Farm to table: really fresh ingredients," Markle said.
