Meghan Markle Reportedly Not Attending Royal Family's Meetings With Donald Trump

Meghan Markle might be American, but that doesn't necessarily mean she has to meet with the U.S. President Donald Trump when he stops by for a visit in her new home of England. Markle will reportedly not be attending any of the royal family's meetings with him.
President Trump and the First Lady, Melania Trump, are expected to arrive in the U.K. on June 3 and meet with the Queen, along with other members of the royal family during their three-day stay.
Elle reports that Markle will not make an appearance at any of the meetings, even though her husband, Prince Harry, is set for a private lunch with Trump. Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to have tea with him on his second day, and will join Prince Charles and Camilla at a welcoming ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
Markle's decision to skip the events is most likely not personal, as she did just give birth to her son Archie on May 6, so she's probably still taking it easy at home. But since the Duchess was a supporter of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Presidential Elections, it's doubtful she'll be sad about missing out on the meetings.
