Michelle Pfeiffer Says It'd Be 'Incredible' to Play Catwoman Again
By Hannah Wigandt
There's been no mention if the iconic character Catwoman will enter the DCEU in the near future, but actress Michelle Pfeiffer would love to jump on the role again, given the chance.
Pfeiffer has had a legendary career and is no stranger to superhero movies, as she starred in 1992's Batman Returns as Selina Kyle. So it's no surprise that the actress was able to join the MCU as well, playing Janet Van Dyne, the original Wasp in Ant-Man and the Wasp. But could Pfeiffer jump back over to the DC world and reprise her role as Catwoman?
In an interview on the Today Show, Pfeiffer was asked if she ever thought about getting back into Catwoman, to which she gave an enthusiastic answer.
"Oh, gosh. I mean, that would be incredible," she exclaimed. "I was sad when that ended. I was just getting comfortable with everything that I had to deal with and beginning to have some fun with it and then it was over."
Pfeiffer is clearly feeling nostalgic about her DC role, because her first post on her new Instagram was a video of Catwoman from Batman Returns. She has since posted a couple of videos of her with her Catwoman whip as well, as if signalling to Warner Bros. she's ready to play her again.
If the actress was able to play Catwoman again, no doubt fans would be totally into it.
