Millie Bobby Brown Reveals Advice Winona Ryder Gave Her After Shaving Her Head for 'Stranger Things'
If Stranger Things has taught us ladies anything, it’s that we have to stick together, and according to Eleven actor Millie Bobby Brown, that is exactly what happened between her and Winona Ryder during the first season.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the 15-year-old actor revealed at the SAG Awards last night that the Joyce Byers star gave her some sound advice when Brown first shaved her head for the role of the powerful character. She explained:
“Winona Ryder cut her hair when she was younger so she always told me there’s going to be a stage where it’s going to have that really weird mid-length so I definitely got told and that was a thing, by the way.”
Of course, the Godzilla: King of the Monsters star is talking about the time in the '90s when Ryder rocked her amazing pixie cut for films such as Girl, Interrupted and Reality Bites.
Brown went on to talk about how difficult it is to say goodbye to castmates at the end of each season, and how ready she is to begin working on Season 4. She explained:
"It’s a family. You’re working for eight to nine months straight, and you form such great relationships and then you’re just leaving each other. So, it’s always so emotional, but we’re ready to get back to shooting.”
Not only are Stranger Things fans as ready as Brown for Season 4, but they are also ready to see if Jim Hopper (David Harbour) actually made it out alive. In any case, we're glad the actors behind the loveable characters seem just as close in real life as they are on the show.
