Mindy Kaling and BJ Novak Have Adorable 'Office' Reunion at Oscars After-Party

Jim and Pam may be the most popular onscreen couple on The Office, but BJ Novak and Mindy Kaling take the award for most shippable pair in real life.

The two did date briefly while the show was filming, with sources saying the relationship was just as tumultuous as the on-again-off-again one between their characters, Kelly and Ryan, on the show. But that doesn't mean fans don't want them together, however, and everyone was thrilled to see them alongside each other at last night's Vanity Fair Oscars after-party.

Kaling documented her evening on her Instagram Story Sunday night, and showed fans everything from her makeup to her seat next to Tom Ford at the after-party--and towards the beginning of her night, that included letting everyone know that she would be attending that evening's events with none other than Novak.

"Happy Oscars, everyone," Kaling posted in a video on her Instagram Story. "I'm in the car on the way to several parties tonight with my good friend." The camera then panned over to Novak, sharing the backseat of the car with the Ocean's 8 actress.

"You told me this was Grammys stuff," Novak responded in a way that perfectly captured the couple's classic banter. Kaling then responded, "Why would be going to the Grammys?"

"I don't know, why am I going to the Oscars?" Novak sarcastically asked back.

Through the years, the exes have stayed close friends and have always supported each other--and we don't anticipate that changing anytime soon.
