Nathan Griffith Sends Love to Ex Jenelle Evans in Surprising Post for Her Birthday

A lot has changed over the past few months for former Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, including her relationship with her ex-fiancé and baby daddy, Nathan Griffith. And as a testament to their renewed friendship, Griffith took to Twitter today to give a birthday shout-out to the reality star.

The 32-year-old dad tweeted the following sweet message to his son’s mother:

“I know the critics will criticize and I know the ‘hatters’ aka haters will hate but this is honestly the first time in a while that I’ve seen @PBandJenelley_1 make serious and positive changes in her life and thinking. I’m so proud of the person you’re becoming. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.”

The former couple called off their brief engagement in 2015, and share five-year-old Kaiser. They had a very toxic relationship up until recently, when Evans left her husband of two years, David Eason. Since then, the two have reconnected as co-parents and friends.

Evans also returned to social media to give herself a birthday pat on the back. The 28-year-old posted pictures of herself on Twitter and Instagram with the caption, “'Sometimes you have to kind of die inside in order to rise from your own ashes and believe in yourself and love yourself to become a new person.' - Gerard Way #HappyBirthdayToMe.”
