Nathan Griffith Was Reportedly Found Sleeping in His Car Prior to DUI Arrest

It seems that Teen Mom 2's Nathan Griffith was trying to sleep it off before he was arrested for a DUI last week.

RadarOnline reports that Jenelle Evans’ baby daddy was caught sleeping intoxicated in the parking lot of a North Carolina grocery store. The Wake County Fire Official who made the dispatch call detailed in the recording, “Send a PD unit out here in reference to a possible intoxicated subject. He’s sleeping inside the car. We made contact with him. He doesn’t want to talk to us.”

The recording continued with, “He does have some alcohol open in the vehicle. Doesn’t appear to have any complaints, just a subject intoxicated.”

When the police arrived, they made the 32-year-old reality star do a field sobriety test, including horizontal gaze nystagmus, walk and turn, and one-leg stand. Because he refused a breathalyzer, and failed the tests, he was arrested on the scene.

The publication states that the dad of Kaiser was bailed out of jail, but will have to appear in court on Nov. 1. The arrest follows his own custody battle with Evans and her husband, David Eason, who Griffith states is violent and unfit to care for his son after he admitted to killing their dog, Nugget. It is unclear how the DUI will negatively impact his custody case.
