Nick Fury's 'Avengers: Infinity War' Post-Credits Scene Might Hint at a Character's Return
By Natalie Zamora
This year will no doubt be major for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not only will we see the end of the Avengers series, but we’ll finally figure out how our beloved superheroes will be brought to life after the massacre that was Avengers: Infinity War. Although we only have a few months left until Avengers: Endgame hits theaters in April, that’s still a while to wait. In the meantime, we’ll continue to theorize what exactly will go down.
Infinity War is still a hot topic of discussion with Marvel fans, obviously. Between the ending which saw Thanos’ deadly snap take out half the universe, and the hopeful post-credits scenes, there’s a lot to unpack ahead of Endgame. Recently, Reddit user freezer_face took to the platform to pose an idea about the Nick Fury post-credits scene.
When Fury is speaking to Maria Hill, they briefly mention Cameron Klein, an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. they are planning to meet with. Klein made minor appearances in Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but this Redditor thinks he might have a bigger role come Endgame, that is if he wasn’t turned to dust.
Many weighed in on the idea in the comments section, with one writing, “Would be nice. I always liked that guy.” Another added, “Given that the Russo’s introduced him, I think there is a good chance. Would be interesting if they needed to be lead to and underground last stand of SHIELD and Coulson is there!”
There isn’t much more here than just a simple wish to see Klein again, but the fans are right: He would be an appreciated addition.
Here’s to hoping not all of Endgame is as upsetting as the ending of Infinity War.
