It looks like after months of speculation, Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty might actually be tying the knot.

According to TMZ, the 36-year-old rapper and her bae were seen at the marriage license bureau window at the Beverly Hills Courthouse. A source at the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk also told Us Weekly that a marriage license was purchased, but has not been received it back for recording.

What is strange is that Minaj stated last month on her Queen Radio show that her and Petty had already obtained the license. She detailed on the episode, “We did get our marriage license. I think I have what I was striving for, just happiness. It was so hard to get to a happy place. Now that I’m there, I don’t want to compromise that for anyone or anything.”

Their plans to get married shouldn’t come as too much of a shock, though, as Minaj has preemptively called Petty her “husband” a few times now. Most recently, she called him this in Chance The Rapper’s new song, “Zanies and Fools,” on which she's featured.

Also in her verse, she raps, “He the Clyde to my Bonnie/ ’bout to walk down the aisle and be a mommy,” furthering the rumors that she's pregnant.

Minaj took an opportunity on Queen Radio to also vouch for Petty, who she first dated during her teenage years in Queens. "When a person is with a n***a that loved them before they had a dime in their pocket?," she asked. "How do you not understand that? How do you not understand happiness versus clout? How f**king dare you talk about lowering standards."

I can’t wait to see what dress the Barbie girl walks down the aisle in.
