Nicki Minaj Reportedly Not Married to Kenneth Petty Despite Calling Him 'Husband'

Though a majority of her fans disapproves of the relationship, Nicki Minaj is apparently as happy as can be with Kenneth Petty. The two, who reportedly dated once in the past, made their relationship public last winter.

But when she made her dating status public, the world wasn't happy that Nicki was boo'd up. Instead, many were up in arms due to Petty's extensive criminal record, which includes a manslaughter charge and a first-degree attempted rape charge.

Nicki, however, has fervently stood by her man and refused to leave him due to social pressure. And to confirm she's loyal to Petty, she donned a huge diamond ring in a pic with him.

The relationship seemingly went to a different level after the Queens-based artist referred to Petty as her "husband" during a recent Queen Radio broadcast.

However, the "Chun-Li" rapper is not a happily wedded wife just yet. A source told TMZ Tuesday that "any reports saying they're married are false." But the source added that Nicki and Petty are "very much in love."

Petty is obviously not who the Barbz would prefer Nicki to date--and possibly marry in the future--but she's proven public opinion does not sway her one way or another, so her fan base just needs to accept it. But for those banking on her finding someone new, it is a bit of positive sign that they're not married.
