Oprah Winfrey sings 'Happy Birthday' to her 13-year-old dog Sadie

Oprah Winfrey the highly respected journalist and talk show host took to her social media on Wednesday to share a video in celebration of her dog, Sadie's 13th birthday. Writing on Instagram, the 67-year-old talk show host, television producer, actress, author, and philanthropist (what a mouthful!) penned: "Big day at our house: Sadie’s 13th birthday! So we made a short rib cake with gravy to celebrate our girl??"

She shared a video, with her 20.2 million Instagram followers, of the moment she presents a "rib cake with gravy" to her dog after lighting, and blowing out, a candle for her birthday. Before she gave Sadie her birthday treat, Oprah shared a quick story after revealing Sadie's age, that not many people tell their dog's true age, which left many baffled in the comments.

"A lot of people don't like telling their dog's age - in this town - I remember sitting in the Bel Air when a woman said her dog was 7, and then when I was leaving she goes 'no he's really 10 but I couldn't say it out loud or he won't get any work in this town'".
