Outer Banks gets a season three premiere date from Netflix

The wait is finally over! Netflix announced, on Tuesday, that its smash hit drama series Outer Banks is returning for season 3 on February 23, 2023.

Taking to social media, the streaming giant posted a reel with a montage of new stills from the forthcoming chapter of the popular show. Set in North Carolina, the series hones in on a group of teenage friends called the Pogues, following them as they come of age.

The streamer also confirmed which cast members would return for the third chapter in the mystery drama. They are Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, and Rudy Pankow. Joining them is newcomer Carlacia Grant, who will play the role of Cleo.

In a formal statement to TUDUM, creators Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke said, "The stakes are ramping up. The Pogues realize that their adventures in the first two seasons were merely the prelude to the granddaddy of all treasure hunts."
