Yikes... embarrassing moment for Paddy McGuinness!

As reported by The Sun, it all started when fan-favorite comedian Peter Kay's team took to his Twitter to respond to the special which aired on Channel 5 to celebrate the holidays, titled Peter Kay: In His Own Words. The tweet clarified that there were no new interviews included, and that the title was "misleading."

Fans didn't seem to mind in the replies section, instead with many of them sending their support and love to the actor. "Hope you and the family are ok Peter and it isn't too long before we have you back xx," one person responded, while another said, "Hope all is ok for Peter and his family, be lovely to see you back out there in the future when your [sic] ready, the fans will be waiting."

But Paddy's reply was a little different. He tweeted (and then deleted), "Never mind that. When did you start speaking in the third person?" Obviously the TV presenter was just making a joke, which leads us to wonder what made him remove the tweet. Perhaps Peter's fans criticized him for making light of the situation? All we can really do is speculate.

As to why Peter's tweet was in third person, it's likely that he has a team responsible for his social media pages. That, or he just felt like speaking that way? Probably the former, though.
