Although fans of the famous duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were heartbroken to see Ant off the air last year following his unfortunate drink-drive incident in March 2018, many were excited to see Holly Willoughby step up and fill in for one of their biggest shows.

The 38-year-old This Morning host took Ant's place during last year's series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, and apparently, she seriously cashed in for the gig. According to the Mirror, her salary has been revealed, and people are less than thrilled about it.

The website reports that Holly was paid a whopping £23,000 a day for her stint in the jungle. While people are happy she was the one to take on the job, many are upset she made this amount of cash just for TV hosting. Fans are discussing the payday online, bringing up the fact that doctors and nurses, who help people in their time of need, don't make nearly this much.

Others took to Twitter to express their frustration, with one replying to The Sun's tweet of the news, "No presenter is worth that much.." Another wrote, "Utterly disgraceful."

Holly has yet to respond to the criticism.
