How 'The Bachelor' Alums Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan Celebrated Fourth of July

It was a low-key Fourth of July for Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan. The patriotic holiday took a back seat this year due to coronavirus safety concerns, but Bachelor Nation's cutest couple still got into the spirit right at home.

In pictures from the holiday, Pilot Pete and his lady were seen soaking up some rays by the pool. Kelley showed her American pride in a red, white, and blue bikini, while sitting atop her boyfriend's shoulders. "Happy 4th!," the former Bachelor leading man captioned the pic.

Kelley shared a post of her own as well. "Happy birthday America!," she captioned her pic.

It's so sweet to see Pete and Kelley looking so happy together after what's been quite the journey for them. While appearing on Peter's season of The Bachelor, Kelley didn't even wind up as a finalist. Nevertheless, the pair found their way back to each other. Peter actually spoke out about their romantic journey in a Cameo appearance.

"To be completely honest, I think just the nature of the show definitely works and I’ve said that since day one," Peter explained. "I still believe it works, but I think specifically for the type of relationship between, you know, Kelley and myself just wasn’t the most organic type of situation for us if it was going to actually work. And that’s okay, that’s totally okay because each relationship is different."

Pete and Kelley's relationship is going so strong, even Barb Weber approves! "Beautiful couple," Pete's mom commented under his July 4 photo with Kelley.
