Piers Morgan Has Confirmed How Long He Has Left Until He Will Leaves 'Good Morning Britain'
Whether you love him or hate him, Piers Morgan has been a staple at Good Morning Britain since he first started the hosting gig back in 2015. The controversial TV presenter has sparked various debates, laughs, and sighs of disappointment over the years, and now he is addressing his departure from the talk show.
It was announced on Good Morning Britain that Piers had signed a new two-year deal with GMB and ITV, which wasn't exactly met with positivity from his co-hosts. "Two more years of stories," he stated, as reported by Entertainment Daily. "Anyway that's it, two more years and then I'll sail off into the sunset."
He added, "And I guarantee then I'll be out."
Viewers have been torn on the news, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on the contract. "2 more years of piers chair dancing !! Awesome I love it !!," one fan wrote, with another replying to Piers with, "Congratulations to
@piersmorgan, making getting up 3 hours before work worthwhile for the next two years!!"
On the other hand, many weren't thrilled with the news. One tweeted in response, "God help us," and another added, "2 more years of Mr ‘I like the sound of my own voice’.. yeah hard pass."
We'll have to wait two more years to see if Piers will truly be done with GMB or not—but for now he's certainly here to stay, for better or worse.
