Pretty Little Liars reboot adds three more series regulars!
According to Deadline, the reboot of the teen mystery drama, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin - made famous by actresses' Shay Mitchell, Troian Bellisario, Lucy Hale and Ashley Benson - had added three more series regulars!
As reported by the media outlet, the revival has cast stars Alex Aiono, Hereditary's Mallory Bechtel and the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy's Eric Johnson as a popular jock, a queen bee mean girl, and a domineering family patriarch sheriff, respectively.
Previously, the show announced the casting of Good Witch's Bailee Madison, Lethal Weapon's Chandler Kinney and Kally's Mashupactor Maia Reficco. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who is behind this reboot, recently shared a photo of the trio together.
What is Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin going to be about?
Loosely based on Sara Shepard's novel series of the same name, Pretty Little Liars is centred around a group of high school students who, on top of all the usual dramas teens on television deal with, are also being terrorised by a mysterious figure known only as 'A'.
Pretty Little Liars isn't the only teen drama that is getting the reboot, as Gossip Girl's new 2021 iteration dropped its first bunch of episodes, with critical opinion noticeably mixed on how well it compares to the original.
When will new Pretty Little Liars episodes air?
Pretty Litle Liars: Original Sin doesn’t have an air date yet, but it began shooting on August 25 at Upriver Studios in New York, according to IMDB, the new episodes will eventually air on HBO.
