Rachel Riley Gives Birth to a Lovely Baby Girl in an Unusual Place

Congratulations are in order for Rachel Riley and husband Pasha Kovalev!

The 33-year-old TV presenter welcomed a baby girl this past weekend, as she just documented on social media. This marks the first child for both Rachel and Strictly Come Dancing's Pasha. The Countdown host shared an adorable series of pictures to Instagram of the pair cuddling their little one, with a lengthy caption explaining how the delivery went.

The funniest part? They couldn't make it to the hospital in time!

"After keeping us waiting she came so quickly we didn’t have a chance to get to the hospital and was born in our bathroom with our amazing doula and wonderful St Mary’s midwives rushing over to be with us in the nick of time," Rachel explained in her caption, also adding that their baby girl, named Maven, was 7 lbs 4 oz.

"She’s absolutely perfect and Pasha and I are in newborn bliss," Rachel added, and it seems her friends and fans can't help but agree. Her comments section quickly blew up with messages of love. Broadcaster Suzi Perry wrote, "Ah there she is! Huge congratulations esp in the circumstances - must have been quite a stress!" A fan added, "Congratulations to you both! She is truly beautiful, you will be the best parents."

Although the delivery wasn't exactly as planned, we're sure Rachel and Pasha couldn't be happier with their little Maven!
