'Real Housewives' Alum Kim Zolciak-Biermann Debuts Drastic Makeover

TV personality Kim Zolciak-Biermann is an avid Instagram user, as she often takes to Instagram to show off selfies, pics with her daughters, and various business ventures she's involved in. And while her selfies usually get tons of likes from her impressive 2.9 million followers, one in particular this week garnered a whole lot of attention.

The 40-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta alum posted a photo in which she poses with daughter Brielle, rocking dark brown hair. The look makes Kim almost unrecognizable, as everyone knows her with her platinum locks. But she can definitely pull it off!

As explained in her caption, Kim actually had "almost black" hair until she was 15, which was when she started dying it blonde. She joked that although she doesn't miss the dark hair, she'd take it over her gray strands "any day." While we're not sure if this photo was of her wearing or a wig, or if she really dyed it brown, her more recent Instagram posts show her back to blonde.

But even if the brown hair isn't permanent, fans expressed how much they loved the color. "You look amazing with dark hair," one commented, while another wrote, "Omg you look beautiful with dark hair !!!! I love the darker so much better." A third added, "Wow Kim this dark hair makes you look mid 20s max."

Kim definitely looks great with dark hair, but as she pointed out, she doesn't miss it. So we shouldn't expect her to change her ways anytime soon.
