Rihanna and Boyfriend Hassan Jameel Make Rare Appearance at Lakers Game

As other prominent couples split, Rihanna and her man are still going strong. The singer and her boyfriend of two years, Hassan Jameel, have been incredibly low-key about their relationship, but were spotted out in L.A. Thursday night to catch a Lakers game.

The public date night was likely part of the birthday festivities for the singer, who turned 31 on Wednesday. Rih showed herself to be a bigger Lakers fan than her billionaire boyfriend, as she donned a LeBron James jersey at the Staples Center.

Before the game began, Rihanna was gifted with her own custom Lakers jersey, which reads "Bad Gal RiRi" on the back.

As it turned out, the "Love on the Brain" singer was likely the Lakers' good luck charm, as LeBron led a great comeback against the formidable Houston Rockets for a win.

Rih has recently been working on her upcoming ninth studio album, set to be released sometime this year. It'll be her first album released since she began dating Hassan, so perhaps she'll give us some details about the relationship in a few of her tracks.
