Sandra Bullock jokes Miss Congeniality 2 'shouldn’t have been done' and shuts down talks of another revival
Sandra Bullock shut down any hopes of a Miss Congeniality revival and hilariously roasted the sequel to the iconic first film in her latest interview.
The actress, 57, spoke to Metro.co.uk along with fellow Lost City co-star Daniel Radcliffe, 32, and upon being asked whether fans could hope for a third film, she gave a resounding no.
"God no! No, no. Two shouldn’t have been done. That one should have remained a one-off," the two-time Academy Award winner stated emphatically.
However, the star did note that she was glad about the sequel, titled Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous, because it allowed her to work with Regina King, 51.
"But I’m glad that it did because of Regina, who I just freaking adore," she stated of her fellow actress.
In the 2005 comedy sequel, Bullock reprised her role as FBI agent Gracie Hart, alongside Regina and William Shatner.
The plot takes place several weeks after the events of the first film, in which she managed to infiltrate the Miss United States beauty pageant.
