Sarah Michelle Geller, 44, celebrated 25 years of her iconic role as Buffy The Vampire Slayer!

Taking to her social media on Thursday, the 44-year-old actress shared some throwback pictures from her time on set as blonde vampire-slaying bombshell, Buffy. She wrote a lengthy caption in celebration of introducing her "version of Buffy Anne Summers". Check out the post below.

"25 years ago today I had the honor to introduce the world to my version of Buffy Anne Summers.," she began her sweet message.

"It was an uphill battle. A mid season replacement, on a new network based on a movie, that was by no means a giant success. ," she continued.

"But then there was you. The fans. You believed in us. You made this happen."

"You are the reason 25 years later we are still celebrating. So today we celebrate you as well." the iconic Scooby-Doo live action actress wrote.
