Chrisley Knows Best star Savannah Chrisley and her fiancé Nic Kerdiles have had a fairytale, whirlwind romance. But now that Chrisley and the NHL star have decided to tie the knot, People reports that they decided to pump the brakes a bit, taking some time to plan for the future, as well as reminisce on their journey so far.

The reality star first met Kerdiles on Instagram in Nov. 2017. They quickly fell in love and began talking about marriage sooner than most. Chrisley previously told People, “He sent me a picture of a ring on Instagram one day and it was hideous. He was like, ‘Do you like this?’ And I was like, ‘No, no.’ I immediately sent him a picture of what I liked.”

Kerdiles took the direction of his lady, as well as her mom Julie Chrisley, and presented her with a beautiful engagement ring in Dec. 2018. Though the two had originally planned to have their ceremony in summer of 2020, the Growing Up Chrisley star revealed in October of this year that she and her fiancé were “taking a step back” in their relationship to ensure that they were staying focused on having a “god-centered” marriage.
