Shawn Mendes Just Responded to a Fan Asking if He's Dating Camila Cabello

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have certainly given fans reason to believe there is a romance brewing. They have been spotted out together in Los Angeles this past week getting cozy, plus they dropped their sexy duet (and even sexier music video) "Señorita" in June. So yeah, no big surprise that a fan recently asked Mendes straight out if he's dating Cabello.

The question occurred during a Q&A session after his concert at the Staples Center, according to E! News. When the fan asked Mendes if he's dating Cabello, the singer just shrugged and didn't directly answer her. The fan then followed up with a very important question: "And if not, will you go out with me?"

Mendes had a great response: "That was the best setup to 'Will you go out with me' I've ever heard. I won't, but I don't know you. That's why. Get to know me first."

Camila recently split from her boyfriend Matthew Hussey after a year of dating, sparking fans' suspicion even further.

Either Cabello and Mendes are using some serious skills to promote a new song, or they're just keeping us in the dark about their romance as long as they can.
