Shawn Mendes returned 'home' for the 'It'll Be Okay' music video
Shawn Mendes, who spilt from his girlfriend of two years, fellow singer, Camila Cabello, last year, revealed that he returned all the way "home" to Toronto, Canada, to film the music video for his new tune, It'll Be Okay.
The 23-year-old singer took to his Instagram on Wednesday to share with his 66.1 million followers the news that the upcoming music video for his song, It'll Be Okay, which is presumed to be about his relationship breakdown with Camila Cabello, will be out "tomorrow", so Thursday, Jan. 13.
During his announcement, the singer revealed that he filmed the video to the highly emotional song "at home" in Toronto Canada. Taking to his Instagram he shared a still from the music video with the caption, "It’ll Be Okay video out tomorrow 12pm ET, shot at home in Toronto ?."
The pop singer-songwriter released his emotional post-breakup ballad on Dec.1. In the new song, he sings: “I start to imagine a world where we don't collide/ It's making me sick but we'll heal and the sun will rise/ If you tell me you're leaving, I'll make it easy/ It'll be okay/ If we can't stop the bleeding/ We don't have to fix it, we don't have to stay/ I will love you either way.”
