Shawn Mendes Teases Upcoming Acting Gig

What would be better than Shawn Mendes in a movie? Nothing, really. News the 20-year-old singer is making his acting debut comes after a Q&A during his world tour. While Mendes didn't reveal too much about the upcoming film, his teaser sent fans into a frenzy, unsurprisingly.
During the Q&A in Turin, Italy, one fan asked Mendes if he ever thought about acting. The singer replied, "Act in film? Yes. I think there will be one sooner than you guys think!"

Rumors have been circulating that Mendes might play Elvis Presley in a biopic about the King of Rock 'N Roll. Mendes doesn't sound too upset about the rumors, though, saying that he already sort of has the hairdo, not to mention he posted a video singing "I Can't Help Falling In Love" to his Instagram Story.
If Mendes does have an upcoming movie, it will be his first time on the silver screen. But something tells us he'll be a natural.
