Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Rock Met Gala 2019 Red Carpet for Newlywed Debut

Newlyweds Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner just made their first red carpet debut as a married couple last night at the Met Gala. The couple hit the red carpet just days after their surprise Las Vegas wedding following the Billboard Music Awards.

Jonas and Turner showed up in matching colorful outfits, and posed arm in arm showing off their looks. Turner looked glowing next to Jonas, sporting silver sprayed hair and shocking blue eyeshadow.

The theme of this year's Met Gala was "Camp: Notes on Fashion," based off the 1964 essay "Notes on 'Camp,'" by Susan Sontag. The couple honored that theme with their retro outfits. Jonas wore a sleek turtle neck shirt and black pants, while Turner wore a sparkly sequin jumpsuit. Both outfits had colors of blue, red, yellow, green, and black.

After the Billboard Music Awards last week, where Jonas performed with his brothers, the couple and a group of friends went down to the Chapel L'Amour inside A Little White Wedding Chapel to say "I do" in a classic Las Vegas wedding that was even officiated by an Elvis impersonator.

The wedding was filmed entirely by artist Diplo, who caught all the best moments, including when husband and wife slid ring pops on each other's fingers and shared their first kiss as a married couple.

We can only expect more public appearances from the couple--showing off their relationship and making us more and more jealous.
