Sophie Turner Reacts to 'Game of Thrones' Fan Slamming Sansa Stark

The cast and crew of Game of Thrones are extremely protective of their show—who wouldn't be in their position? It's one of television's most talked about series ever. Kit Harington has already told critics to "go f**k themselves" for talking about Thrones negatively, and now Sophie Turner is backing that by defending her character Sansa Stark.

After one person on Twitter slammed Sansa and questioned Arya Stark's statement that she was the smartest person she knew, Turner just had to respond.

Arya defended her sister after Jon Snow said he could have used Arya's help with Sansa. "Sansa thinks she's smarter than anyone," Jon stated, to which the trained assassin replied, "She's the smartest person I've ever met."

Arya and Sansa had never been close growing up, but the former now sees that her big sister has grown into a true warrior—one who will always defend her family. She's much different than the last time Arya saw her in Season 1. We saw their bond stronger than ever when the sisters tricked Petyr Baelish and killed him last season.

Sansa's character has endured some of the worst things to happen on the show, as she was treated like a helpless little girl and forced to marry twice. However, she pulled a 180 when she destroyed Ramsay Bolton, going to take back her ancestral home and restoring the balance in the North alongside Jon.

If anyone has changed the most in Game of Thrones it's Sansa, so we understand why Turner had to respond to the troll.
