Good news for Game of Thrones fans who are still missing the series—Sophie Turner has a brand new show! The actress was cast in Quibi's Survive, and now, she's speaking out on the parallels between her character and real life.

In an interview with Variety, Turner revealed how she drew inspiration from her own struggles with mental health to portray the troubled woman in the show. "She’s incredibly depressed," the Emmy nominee said of her character, named Jane. "She doesn’t feel like there’s any hope. But she ends up fighting for a life she didn’t want to live in the first place."

“I tried to come at it from as truthful a point of view as I could, just from my past experiences," Turner continued. "Without going into too much detail, I’ve definitely been where Jane has been. It wasn’t the biggest stretch for me, I suppose."

For fans who have been hungry for more screen time from Turner, it looks like Survive is just what they've been holding out for. Don't expect it to be full of dragons and fights for the throne, though! The new show is streaming now on Quibi.
