'Spider-Man: Far From Home' Director Reveals if There's a Stan Lee Cameo in Film
By Ryan Carroll

Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters in just days, and fans are clamoring for any bits of information they can get about the film. Among other questions, fans and commentators have speculated on whether Spider-Man creator Stan Lee would be able to cameo on the film or not--and this week, director Jon Watts revealed the answer.
According to CinemaBlend (via Movie Web), Watts confirmed that the film would not have a Stan Lee cameo, likely meaning that the writer’s appearance in Avengers: Endgame would be his last. “I think everyone sort of knew that he was sick and he had just filmed the cameo for Endgame,” Watt said. “I think they shot that earlier, too. So I didn't want to... It felt right for the last thing to be in Endgame. So we never really talked about it, honestly.”
Lee’s cameo in Endgame was well-received by critics and fans, who felt that it was an appropriate sendup for the mogul and his long history. This cameo followed an earlier, similarly received appearance in Captain Marvel; following his death in Nov. 2018, it had been unclear how many new films he would feature in.
Lee was responsible for co-creating many of the characters now popular in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Iron Man, Spider-Man, Thor, and more.
As for us, we’re sad that Lee won’t be making a final appearance in Far From Home, but we are glad that we had such a great cameo in Endgame, and that his work is living on even past him.
