'Star Wars' Fans Can Taste Luke Skywalker's Blue Milk at Disney's Galaxy’s Edge Theme Park
By Olivia Montine
Star Wars fans, rejoice! When the themed lands for the iconic movie series open at Walt Disney World and Disneyland this year, you'll be able to try some of the most striking and unique foods from a galaxy far, far away.
One of the most highly requested foods for fans to try in real life has been the infamous "blue milk" pictured in A New Hope, the fourth episode but first movie, which was released in 1977.
Well, if you've always dreamed of trying the mystical drink, today is your lucky day. Blue and green "milk" will be sold in a cart in the Black Spire Outpost (the name given to the land), and there will be another similar option in Oga Garra's Cantina. While the option will not be alcoholic in either restaurant, the Anaheim location of Galaxy's Edge will be the first spot to sell adult beverages in the Southern California park.
The expansions of the parks are the largest in their respective histories, with the Imagineers behind the ideas aiming to transport guests to an entire new galaxy. It's all perfectly timed too, with the release of the much-anticipated episode nine slated for later this year.
Will you be channeling your inner Skywalker when the parks open?
