Not only has Hiro Koda had his SAG card since the young age of 12, he's also a fourth degree black belt and an Emmy Award winning stunt coordinator. He has worked as a stuntman for the last 25 years, using his background in martial arts and motocross to fulfill his dream. He has worked to create jaw-dropping stunts on critically-acclaimed projects like Big Little Lies, Ozark, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Sons of Anarchy. In recent years he has leant his work to Netflix's hit sci-fi drama Stranger Things, and he recently spoke with ComicBook.com about his experiences on set and what to expect from the much anticipated fourth season.

Production for the next season is currently on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, but Koda spilled the tea on what to expect from the fourth season as well as how stunts will be affected by social distancing measures. "All I can tell you is that season four is... It's darker. It's going to be epic. There's lots of great surprises and all your favorite people are in it," explained Koda. "It's going to be so good. It's so epic. I've gotten to read through almost eight scripts now, so it's pretty awesome. I don't know how many we're going to get."

We already know that the first episode of Season 4 is titled "The Hellfire Club," and a few other juicy details which you can read bout here.

Koda revealed that two episodes of season four were filmed before production halted before going on to explain the "new protocols" that have to be in place to resume work after the pandemic. "As far as social distancing, we can separate ourselves and work in and out of set in waves, instead of everybody on set at once. That's easier to control. Everybody can wear masks and gloves and whatever, but the actors can't, they have to take the masks off. They've got to be in close contact," he continued. "Stunts, all stunts that we do, we're physically touching each other because we're fighting, and we're dealing with the cast and putting them in harnesses and wires and flying them. And stunt people are always together fighting and rolling around. So it's going to be an interesting thing to try to figure out."

It seems like Koda has a tough job ahead of him! Hopefully, filming for season four will go off without a hitch and we'll get new episodes soon.
