'Stranger Things' Star Finn Wolfhard Cast in New Thriller 'Rules for Werewolves'

One Stranger Things cast member is set to star in a dramatic thriller. And it's not his first rodeo.

Finn Wolfhard will star in Rules For Werewolves, reports Deadline. The exciting project is based on the short film that is premiering next month at SXSW in Austin. Reportedly told through almost one single take, the movie explores the happenings and hell raisings of a group of teenagers, breaking into homes along with various other suspenseful shenanigans.

“This short film represents the fourth time I’ve worked with [director] Jeremy Schaulin-Rioux. He’s one of Canada’s most imaginative directors, and I look forward to collaborating with him again as we take Kirk Lynn’s provocative text and expand this short into a very strong feature reflecting teenage lives in the wild and anxious era," says Wolfhard.

Schaulin-Rioux adds, “Rules For Werewolves is the kind of movie I’m desperate to see and dying to make, especially with the dream team of Kirk, Finn, our producing team, Boldly and co-star Kelcey Mawema. Premiering the short at SXSW is a very exciting way to share a glimpse of this amazing new world.”

Seeing Finn on the big screen once again will be a real treat for Stranger Things fans. We're all still anxiously awaiting Season 4, and hopefully that wait won't last much longer.

The Rules For Werewolves short premieres March 13, 2020, and a release date for the full-length film is not yet known.
