'Stranger Things' Star Joe Keery Has Officially Ditched That Controversial Haircut

The Stranger Things fandom absolutely blew up last week when photos were posted online of Joe Keery sporting a...very different look.

Keery, better known as Steve “The Hair” Harrington on the Netflix series, swapped out his signature haircut for a way less popular bowl cut. Fans were frightened at the 27-year-old actor's new look, with many taking to social media to complain and create memes about it. One person tweeted, “It's been two days since I saw Joe Keery's haircut and I'm still upset,” while another went as far as to say, “Friday the 13th and the spookiest thing I saw today was Joe Keery’s haircut.”

But fans can now breathe once again. According to a report from Hollywood Life, while Keery went out shopping in Beverly Hills with his girlfriend Maika Monroe, the controversial haircut was nowhere to be seen.

Keery went from ultimate hair goals to the absolute opposite in a matter of days. But now it looks like he's going back to his classic look, and we know fans are relieved.
