Taika Waititi Continues to Provide Perfect Clapbacks to 'Thor: Love and Thunder' Haters
By Ryan Carroll

While the announcement of Thor: Love and Thunder, starring Natalie Portman as Thor, has generated considerable support, there are some who have been vocally negative about the film and its direction. However, director Taika Waititi has been demonstrating his trademark tact on the subject, delivering top tier responses to haters.
Over the past few weeks, as CBR reports, Waititi has delivered a number of ace comments towards pre-disposed hatred towards the film. When one fan, replying to Jason Aaron, the comic book writer whose story was being adapted into Love and Thunder, said that they had felt no excitement or enthusiasm about the film, Waititi jokingly replied, “There, there. You'll get over it when you realise you don't know what you want until I give it to you.”

In another case, a Twitter user said (in a since-deleted tweet), according to CBR, that the film was attempting to “squeeze in” an “agenda” and that it should not be made. Waititi responded, “Back to bed, bubba, and I mean it this time. You've got school on Monday so no more devices until next weekend. Xx."
Yet another tweet expressed disdain for Waititi’s direction with Thor: Ragnarok, saying that the director “ruined” the film with “too much comedy” and that the next film would hopefully be different. In response, Waititi said, “Sorry in advance, suckaaaaaaa.”

While we know that these responses are from just a small subset of fans, we’re absolutely here for Waititi’s responses--and we’re confident that his film will be as high-quality as his roasts are.
