'The Bachelor' Alum Tammy Ly Hits Back After She's Criticized for Her Support of Black Lives Matter
Fans may remember Tammy Ly from Peter Weber's drama-filled season of The Bachelor, but she's so not here for drama on social media. When one fan came for her on Instagram, she hit right back.
The exchange started when Tammy spoke in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, and one follower accused her of being insincere. "Whenever you see celebrities post stuff about BLM because they have to for appearances," the person commented on her post, according to a thread on Reddit.
But Tammy didn't let the remark slide, replying with a harsh comment of her own. "When you see someone whose an irrelevant nobody stalk your IG just to make passive aggressive comment because they have nothing better to do and they have sad lives," she hit back. Ouch.
Tammy's response might have been a bit harsh, but her Black Lives Matter post appeared to be coming from the right place. "Unfortunately we live in a country where white privilege is very real. I’ve shared my stories about racism but I can never relate to our black brothers and sisters, and what they’ve had to go through/going through," she wrote.
Clearly, Tammy has no patience for internet trolls, and when it comes to her support of BLM, it's unwavering.
