'Teen Mom 2': Barbara Evans Reportedly Not Allowing Jace at Jenelle and David Eason's Home
Barbara Evans is not about to allow her grandson to be in harm's way.
Following the murder of Jenelle Evans' dog Nugget on April 30, the Teen Mom 2 fan base has been up in arms about what consequences her husband David Eason will face. The controversial figure defended killing the small french bulldog by claiming she had bitten his and Jenelle's daughter, two-year-old Ensley, in the face more than once. But no one understands why he had to kill her, especially after sources claim he beat her as well.
It's not clear if David will face any legal trouble due to the murder, but Jenelle's mom Barbara is taking matters into her own hands. According to The Ashley, she is not allowing Jenelle's nine-year-old son Jace to go back to "The Land," a.k.a. the couples' property, when David is present. The publication also reports that Jenelle has cut her mom off as a result.
Jenelle has reportedly blocked her mom from contacting her, as well as on Instagram.
"Barbara is still in contact with [the people from MTV] and she said that since Jenelle isn’t leaving David, she can’t allow Jace to go see Jenelle because she knows that will mean Jace will be around David," a source tells The Ashley. "She was horrified [about the dog’s murder]."
"Barbara is very upset that Jenelle has chosen to return to The Land and David," the source adds. "She is sad that Jenelle has cut her off again for trying to keep Jace from her, but Barbara wants to protect Jace from whatever else may happen [on The Land]."
Although Jenelle had spoken out after David killed Nugget, explaining that, "he’s very cruel and doesn’t have a heart on many ends," it appears she might be forgiving him. She's returned to The Land and has remained silence on the issue since.
