'Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry Says the Negativity She Receives on Social Media is on 'Another Level'
Kailyn Lowry is getting nonstop trolled on social media and it seems totally unfair. The Teen Mom 2 star jumped on Twitter this week, as reported by In Touch Weekly, to express her frustration with negative people. "The hate I get from followers and viewers is on another f**king level," she wrote.
Nasty comments have seemingly only escalated since Kailyn announced her pregnancy with her fourth child, especially since fans found out that Chris Lopez, Kailyn's ex and the father of her third son, Lux, is the father again. Kailyn has criticized her ex many times for the lack of involvement he's shown in his son's life, so part of the negative backlash she receives is about her relationship with him.
One fan in response made a suggestion to Kailyn, tweeting, "Block them!!!," to which she said there are too many to keep up with. Other claimed that this is what Kailyn should expect since she signed up to be a reality TV star, as if fielding all the online hatred was one more part of her job.
Is this the new relationship between celebrities and the public? Through viewers, followers, subscribers, and fans, celebrities can leverage larger contracts, therefore earning more money. But the price they seem to pay doesn't seem fair at all. Especially when pregnant!
