Following the shooting of Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans' dog Nugget last week by her husband David Eason, new details have come out from TMZ revealing that Evans' ex-boyfriend was reportedly the one to who called the cops after the incident occurred.

Nathan Griffith allegedly requested that police perform a welfare check since he believed the son he shares with Evans, four-year-old Kaiser, was in the house at the time that Eason reportedly slammed the animal against the back deck before taking it into a wooded area and delivering the fatal shot.

While Jenelle allegedly left the house after the incident to stay with a friend, Griffith said to someone in the room with him at the time of the phone call that he believed that if Evans returned to the house where Eason was, "somebody [was] going to die." The events unfolded after Nugget, the couple's dog, allegedly nipped at their two-year-old daughter Ensley and scratched her face after she got too close and spooked the animal.

Evans is reported to have moved back in with Eason, and the pursuance of legal action over the events remains unclear at this time.
