'Teen Mom 2's Briana DeJesus Forced to Defend Herself Following Fan Backlash

On Monday’s episode of Teen Mom 2, Briana DeJesus introduced her new boyfriend, John Rodriguez. Briana revealed on Twitter that initially it was hard to open up about her new relationship, but was glad she did after it was all over.

This excitement faded, however, when Briana was hit with negative comments on social media, which seemed to criticize her relationships and her decisions as a mom.

The relationship from last season which Briana mentions in her tweet is the one she had with Kailyn Lowry’s ex-husband, Javi Marroquin. The relationship was documented throughout all of last season, but ultimately came to an end once Briana decided that it was moving too fast.

Fans were excited to meet John, mostly because Briana has kept their romance rather private, perhaps due to all the drama of her last relationship.

Ever since Briana revealed she is in a new relationship, fans have wondered if baby number three is on the way. In an interview with InTouch Weekly, Briana revealed she is happy with John and wants to have kids with him at some point, but the two are definitely not in “any rush.”

Briana also mentioned in her tweet that a “house [is] coming soon,” which fans can assume means she will be moving out of the apartment she currently shares with her mom and sister.

Despite all the negative comments on social media, Briana seems to be very happy with her new man, according to Pop Culture. “We just vibe. You know when you meet somebody and you just vibe? You talk all night, and you guys are comfortable around each other? It’s like that. I don’t know what it is about him … he has nice eyes, I don’t know," she stated about John.

Briana seems to be pushing the haters' opinions aside and focusing on her kids, along with her new man, and that's what we like to see.
