'Teen Mom's Mackenzie Standifer Reacts After She's Criticized for Baby's Name
Teen Mom OG's Mackenzie Standifer is not afraid to go Mama Bear on social media trolls making fun of her kids. The wife of Ryan Edwards clapped back at a follower this week who took it upon themselves to make fun of her baby girl's name.
According to In Touch Weekly, the user commented on a picture of the family’s new addition, Stella Rhea, bluntly writing about her name, “Sounds like ‘diarrhea.’” The mom-of-three promptly corrected the follower, writing, “It’s pronounced Ray. Not diarrhea.”
Mackenzie probably had to count to ten a few times before writing such a calm correction. Despite the one Negative Nancy, hundreds of other fans showed their happy congratulations for the couple and their adorable bundle of joy.
News earlier this week that the couple welcomed Stella Rhea over the New Year. Ryan’s father, Larry, shared the news, saying that the baby came early and very quickly. “One push and she was here!,” he stated of the rapid delivery.
Thankfully Ryan, who shares his eldest son Bentley with his ex Maci Bookout, was able to be there for the birth of his daughter. Last year, he missed his youngest son Jagger’s birth because he was completing his third stint in rehab.
Ignoring the immature troll, it seems that the Edwards family is over the moon about the arrival of Stella Rhea.
