'Teen Mom's Tyler Baltierra Claps Back at Claims Baby Vaeda is Not His Child

Fans were extremely excited to see Teen Mom's Tyler Baltierra finally sharing a full photo of his one-month-old daughter with Catelynn Lowell, baby girl Vaeda Luma. The sweet picture has garnered tons of likes on Instagram, with an abundance of comments gushing over the cute baby. However, with every nice message, there's always going to be a bit of hate.

Fans took notice to Vaeda's olive skin tone and immediately began making insanely rude assumptions, such as that Tyler is actually not the father. While Cate and Tyler are pretty pale in complexion, that certainly doesn't mean the baby isn't both of theirs. But nonetheless, Tyler received comments such as, "This isn’t his baby, this baby is clearly another race," with others telling the dad to "get a DNA test."

Although Catelynn tried to joke about the cruel comments, writing, "Sorry babe I cheated and Vaedas [sic] not urs [sic] #peoplearecrazy #comeon," Tyler was absolutely not having it. In his comments section, the 27-year-old reality star wrote:

"Wow. I’m actually just appalled at the ridiculously asinine comments about my newborn. We live in a world that is so divided, judgmental, self-righteous and opinionated … and unfortunately it’s very evident with these comments. Respectful MATURITY is having a strong opinion and voicing it when necessary. Disrespectful IMMATURITY is having a strong opinion and voicing it when it is NOT NECESSARY. Your deity knows all of your thoughts … but evil can only hear what comes out of your mouth."

Fans were quick to come to Tyler's defense, with one writing, "Do people not know how newborn skin works???? It can take up to 6mths [sic] before babies get their natural skin color." Thankfully the couple will always have their true fans to back them up, and we're sorry they even have to go through this. But at the end of the day, Vaeda is adorable and they have a great family. That's all that matters!
