'Teen Mom' Star Tyler Baltierra's Sister Amber Arrested for Reported Domestic Assault

Tyler Baltierra’s sister Amber unfortunately went two steps forward to only move three steps back.

RadarOnline reports that the older sibling of Teen Mom OG’s Tyler was arrested this week on domestic assault charges. The Williamson County Sheriff’s Department in Texas responded in the early evening of Nov. 10 to a “domestic in progress” call, and arrived on the scene to find Amber’s boyfriend bleeding.

After being released from jail, Amber took to Instagram Live to explain what happened. Apparently the couple had recently broken up because her boyfriend cheated on her. When she was on her way to his house for a possible reconciliation, she saw another woman leaving as she arrived. She stated in the video, “I lost it. Me and him got into a fight,” adding that she drew blood when she scratched his forehead.

This incident follows her May 2018 stint in rehab, but the 32-year-old star claims that she was (and is) sober despite the allegations that she is using again. She addressed the rumors on IG, saying:

“I know my truth. I know who I am. I know the growth I’ve made. I know I’m still sober. I don’t have to prove that to anyone. No one talks when I’m doing good, everyone talks when you’re doing bad. Let me get back to staying positive!”

Tyler has yet to comment on his sister’s arrest, but if what she is saying about being sober is true, at least there is a silver lining to the madness.
