'Teen Mom' Stars React to 'Teen Mom: Young Moms Club' Failed Ratings
Many of the Teen Mom stars, along with its fan base, have been against MTV's new series Teen Mom: Young Moms Club. The series, which was originally titled Pretty Little Mamas, was rebranded this year, but it still doesn't look like the show was received with any praise. In fact, according to The Ashley, the show under its new name ended up bringing in less viewers.
During a recent episode of Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry and friend Lindsie Chrisley's podcast Coffee Convos, the hosts, along with Teen Mom OG stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra, spoke about the failed TV series.
"Oh yeah, that bombed," Catelynn said, as reported by The Ashley. "I don’t know what it was,” Tyler chimed in. “They tried a couple different titles, slapped some stuff together and it failed horribly."
"A lot of our fans were like, 'Why are we going to watch this when they all live with their parents in the pool house and have nannies,'" Catelynn added. Tyler agreed, continuing, "See 'Young and Pregnant' was relatable because it’s real. ['Young Moms Club'] was like nannies and Beverly Hills…it didn’t make sense!"
The couple has been very vocal on how they felt about the new series since the get-go, and it seems many people agree with them. We'll see if Teen Mom: Young Moms Club returns for any more episodes.
