After three years without a host for the Oscars, it appears the missed years are being made up to with the reveal of three contenders due to host the 94th Academy Awards.

Amy Schumer, 40, Wanda Sykes, 58, and Regina Hall, 51, are officially the hosts of the 2022 Oscars. The news was first confirmed by AMPAS and Oscars producer Will Packer before also being confirmed by the three actresses via social media.

On Friday, Amy Schumer shared a poster for the event - which will air on on March 27, on ABC - with the three hosts front and centre raising their left arms up high in the air as they sat in a movie theatre in full Hollywood glam.

The 40-year-old comedian and actress simply captioned her post "LFG," - which typically stands for "Lets Fu**ing Go" - and tagged the other hosts, Will Pecker and The Academy in her post.
