The Office may have concluded back in 2013, but the spirit of the show is kept alive through re-runs, streaming, and the official Office Ladies podcast. In case you're not yet familiar, The Office co-stars Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey host the podcast together, and it's all about the hit show.

The two have spilled some major tea during each of the episodes, including behind-the-scenes secrets. One of these had to do with the UK Office star and co-creator, Ricky Gervais, who had key words of advice for the American cast and crew when it came to creating the character of Michael Scott.

"He said, 'In England, you can be really, really bad at your job for a long time, and you never get fired,'" Fischer said, as reported by Insider. "'In America, that's gonna frustrate people. So my one piece of advice is that Michael can be a buffoon, he can be silly, he can be irritating, but you should show glimpses of him actually being a good salesperson.'"

Clearly, writers took that advice and ran with it, because as inappropriate as Michael acted sometimes, we knew it was always coming from a good place. As the seasons went on, viewers became attached to the hilarious character, so much so that many stopped watching when actor Steve Carell left in Season 7.

The Office was the show that always kept us on our toes, and, apparently, there's still some secrets we didn't know to be uncovered. If you're looking for some themed swag all based on the show, check out these awesome gifts for your Dunder Mifflin obsessed friends!
