The 'Avengers: Endgame' Trailer’s Most Amazing Scene Isn’t Real

The people behind Marvel Studios are apparently manipulative masterminds who have just fooled the world. We just knew that the many different teasers released for Avengers: Endgame were too good to be true. The directing duo the Russo Brothers have made fans think the clips were actually in the movie, when it turns out not all of them are.

We don’t know how many scenes are actually fake, but the directors have just come forward to admit that one clip from the Special Look teaser is definitely not real. And something tells us this is going to shock and upset many fans. The part in question shows Iron Man and Captain America reuniting, something we were all thrilled to see.

“We consume too much content,” Joe Russo explained to Empire last month. “So at our disposal are lots of different shots that aren’t in the movie that we can manipulate through CG to tell a story that we want to tell specifically for the purpose of the trailer and not for the film.”

Keeping that in mind, the director actually proved this when he and his brother were recently interviewed by Fox. When asked about the scene between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers, Joe cut in to confirm it won’t really appear in the film.

“So you know that we tell people that we manipulate trailers in order to obfuscate what happens in these films? That actually is not in the movie,” he boldly revealed.

The blunt confession is no doubt very surprising. Fans have been analyzing the scene nonstop since its release, and expectedly have created many theories around it. Now we’re rethinking everything we’ve seen from Endgame so far. We can’t believe anything until the film premieres on April 26.
