'The Bachelor's Jasmine Nguyen and Alexa Caves Spark Dating Rumors on Instagram
It's certainly true that this season of The Bachelor didn't exactly bring out the most loved group of girls in the ABC franchise's history, but that doesn't mean the catty crew of Peter Weber's contestants stayed bitter towards each other after they wrapped. Actually, surprisingly enough given the silly fights they had, many of the ladies are good friends today. And two of them are so close, in fact, that fans of the show are left wondering if they're more than platonic.
Texas native Jasmine Nguyen, who was eliminated in Week 3, took to Instagram to share cute shots of her and Alexa Caves, who was also denied a rose from Peter the same night. The two looked cozy while out in Chicago, but it was the caption that had followers raising their eyebrows. "Spoiler: we did find love after all," Jasmine wrote. Many fellow former Bachelor contestants shared their love on the post, with fans questioning the nature of their relationship. One wrote, "Please tell me you’re actually dating because that would make this whole season worth it."
Another commented, "I can't tell if this is a joke or not but if it isn't I'm SO HAPPY," and a third said, "Please don’t say sike because I am here for this."
Neither of the ladies have confirmed whether or not they're actually dating, but Alexa did reveal last month via social media that she's sexually fluid. According to People, the Illinois native wrote on her Instagram Story:
"The amount of people that ask me about my sexuality in my [DMs] is crazy. LOL, I’ve been getting it since the first episode. It is by far the question I get asked the most. I’m fluid. I’ve been with women and I’ve been with men. I’m open minded [sic]. To me this really isn’t a big deal. People in my life know this about me. But I thought that I’d share this because some people are curious and I’m not ashamed of who I am. I just do my thang."
Sure, we don't know for certain if there's true romance between Jasmine and Alexa, but it's definitely clear that Bachelor Nation is fully shipping it.
